If the dolls have never liked you and instead they provoke in you a certain anguish, then do not look at the photos that we have selected and which concern the creations of Michael Zajkov!
With his hyper-realistic dolls made entirely by hand, the Russian artist Michael Zajkov manages to reproduce with an incredible precision all the little details of the faces and bodies of his creations.
Zajkov is a graduate from Kuban State University of Russia. While completing his graduate studies, Michael Zajkov worked in a puppet theater, where he improved his skills in doll making. He was first brought to worldwide attention in 2013, when he presented five of his creations at the “Art Dolls” expo in Moscow.
He uses polymer clay for the dolls, hand painted glass eyes from Germany, and French mohair for hair.
A stunning performance of realism, but slightly disturbing.
